On January 23, 1996 WCW Clash of the Champions XXXII took place in Paradise, Nevada from Caesars Palace. In the main event, Ric Flair and The Giant (with “The Mouth of the South”Jimmy Hart) defeated Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage (with Miss Elizabeth and Kevin Greene). It was reported that Flair, who lost the WCW World Title to Savage one day prior, threatened to quit WCW unless the finish to the main event (Hogan pinning Flair with the legdrop) was changed. On July 15, 1996 WCW Monday Nitro aired on TNT from the Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida. During the main event between WCW World Television Champion Lex Luger and Big Bubba (with Jimmy Hart), The Outsiders (Scott Hall & Kevin Nash) jump both Luger and Big Bubba. Hollywood Hulk Hogan makes his first appearance on WCW television since turning heel at Bash at the Beach two weeks ago.
