Anthony Caro’s “Gulf Stream” (1976) is back on view, installed in front of the Museum. For the first time, the dynamic monumental sculpture is presented on a plinth, giving viewers a new perspective. To get ready for the installation, preparators Andy and Matthew created a full-scale cardboard template of the sculpture’s base to determine the optimal placement of lights within the new plinth. 🏋 Can you guess how much it weighs?
