NEW YORK (AP) — The WNBA and its players’ union reached an agreement in principle on a transformational new collective bargaining agreement early Wednesday morning.

In 2003, the WNBA's minimum salary was just $30,000. That figure has grown to $300,000 with the 2026 CBA, which means the players have clinched a tenfold minimum salary increase.
