The Missile Gate at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, has reopened and is back to normal operations after four hours of closure.
Completion of the new entrance is expected by December 2027.
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton's main gate has been closed until further notice, and motorists are being advised to use alternative routes and check the base's website for updates.
