The Allan, Coursington and Draffen Towers – home to generations of families for more than 50 years – have been reduced to rubble in a massive controlled blowdown.

Eleven illegal coke oven plants were demolished through a controlled explosion in East Jaintia Hills district following orders from the Meghalaya High Court, officials said on Sunday.
