STM32CubeIDE is an advanced C/C++ development platform with peripheral configuration, code generation, code compilation, and debug features for STM32 microcontrollers and microprocessors.
To import the STM32CubeMPU firmware project into STM32CubeIDE, go to [File]> [Import...] and select "Import Existing Projects into Workspace" as shown in the figure below and click on [Next >].
This installation guide for STM32CubeIDE gives directions on how to install software on each of the operating systems it supports. It is primarily intended to software developers or system administrators who are about to install the STM32CubeIDE product.
The remaining options (such as compilation and linker) are described in the STM32CubeIDE user guide. At the end, the user obtains an STM32CubeIDE project.
STM32CubeIDE is an advanced C/C++ development platform with peripheral configuration, code generation, code compilation, linking, and debugging features. It is based on the Eclipse®/CDTTM framework and GCC and LLVM toolchains for the development, and GDB for the debugging.
STM32CubeIDE is ST’s first integrated development environment, and it serves as a reference to developers working on STM32 microcontrollers. Many use a toolchain from a third-party vendor, and we work closely with IAR, Keil, and others to ensure they offer their users an exceptional experience.
